Profile System

Modular aluminium profile system with high-performance thermal insulation and choice of two building depths: 67 mm for Ecoline or 84 mm for Highline
Bottom-running; minimal load support required in case of falls
Edged profiling
Minimum sight line of 99 mm in the panel profile joint
Single-piece, multi-functional, fibreglass-reinforced polyamide bionic TURTLE® break profile
Loose shear bond built into thermal break to compensate for thermal loads
Mitred panels connected by corner pieces that are glued and pressed together on the inside to create a sturdy joint
Controlled drainage
Built-in running tracks and guide rails
Separate levels for runners and locks
Floor track (accessible and suitable for living spaces) available
Built-in, concealed cable routing

Sealing System

The seal encompasses two all-round sealing levels with constant gap sizes and even seal pressure between the panels
Sealing levels not interrupted by fittings
Sheathed foam seals with optimum sliding properties
With optional convection chamber interruption seals for improved thermal transmittance

Design Variants

Panels fold either inwards or outwards, to either left or right
Left and right sliding panel pairs also available
Floor track designs without rebates in compliance with German standard DIN 18040 on “Accessible construction”
Floor tracks available as minimal floor tracks without height offset
RC2/RC2N version available as an option
Tilting or turn-and-tilt panel can be built into the frame-side
panel of a panel pair with concealed fittings
Modular system allows folding, tilting, turn-and-tilt and fixed elements to be combined in a single frame with an uninterrupted floor track thanks to integral profile
Bi-folding door available on balustrade or with top light in a frame

System adjustment mechanism built into sub-frame rebate, outside the sealing level
The specially shaped stainless-steel running track with tapered track roller allows the use of unguided carriages
Stainless steel ball bearing runner mechanism: stainless steel track rollers and stainless-steel bearing surfaces for quiet running and very long service life
Easy-running, low-wear carriage fitted with double-row deep-groove ball bearings and built-in anti-prying guard
Sliding lock or optional lock-in-place panel for controlled ventilation
High-quality, stainless-steel Solarlux designer handles
Lock-in-place, one-hand operation thanks to special gears with stroke of 24 mm
Pass door available with latch-key-activated, multi-point lock and profile cylinder
Secure hinge pins
Secure cleaning pin with convenient unlocking mechanism and misuse prevention system to allow cleaning of the outsides of the panels on inwards-opening bi-folding door elements
Thanks to its defined locking points, this cleaning pin can be used for both paired and unpaired bi-folding doors
Lock monitoring system with reed contacts and concealed cable routing
Patented “Comfort Snap” panel catch

  Minimal Frames have been outstanding throughout the process, from planning to install and aftercare. At all times their communication has been top-notch; fast and effective. Quality of the glazing itself is excellent, the installation process was pain free and the windows and pivot door look incredible.   Bob and Minimal Frame have stepped in to help sort out problems with another glazing company. He has kept us well informed throughout and has worked tirelessly to deal with the manunufacturers to get the doors delivered and the install started. We were 90% done by Christmas which was a huge relief. I've found Bob to be straightforward, transparent and responsive and am very grateful for his help fixing our previous issues.
