About the V56 Pivoting System
Minimal framing with maximum impact
The Vitrocsa V56 Pivoting System redefines door design with a barely-there 25 mm vertical connection and a unique pivot mechanism that rotates on a central or offset axis. Its ultra-slim profile integrates seamlessly into architectural projects where transparency, scale, and purity of form are essential.
Designed for extreme conditions and sophisticated spaces, the V56 system features saline-treated aluminium suitable for coastal environments, reinforced frames for high wind zones, and a sophisticated hidden locking system that ensures ease of use and security.
Perfectly suited for grand entrances, pivoting patio doors, or integration alongside sliding and fixed elements, the V56 enables fluid transitions while making a bold visual statement.
How the Pivot System Works
Unlike traditional hinged doors, the pivot system rotates on a custom axis set away from the frame, allowing larger and heavier glass panels to move effortlessly. This method distributes weight more effectively, enabling clean operation and expansive openings.
The pivot axis can be central for balanced symmetry or offset to allow wider, dramatic entranceways. Combined with concealed hardware and seamless framing, it achieves a minimalist design that’s both functional and visually striking.
