The S4Z steel security door is specifically developed for police stations, prisons, courts, and forensic clinics. Designed to resist breakout, vandalism, and suicide attempts, it meets the highest standards of custodial safety — with tested RC4 resistance on both sides and optional add-ons for secure, real-world functionality.
Tested RC4 resistance on both corridor and cell sides (DIN EN 1627–1630)
72 mm thick double-walled steel leaf with reinforced internal frame
Anti-suicide design with no exposed edges or tamper points on cell side
Deflection under 6.5 mm at 2.5 t static load and <3 mm at 2 t edge load
Standard and tamper-proof door viewers with up to 200° viewing angle
Available add-ons: food hatch, inspection window, fanlight, quick-release bolts
Security chain designed for police/prison-grade use with dual-side operation
Fire-resilient operation: operable by key after 15 minutes fire exposure inside cell
Tested to federal prison door guidelines (e.g. Saxony-Anhalt) and built for long-term durability
Secure, suicide-resistant doors for high-risk detention environments
Developed in response to real-world requirements from police departments and correctional institutions, the S4Z series delivers certified performance where it matters most. With tested resistance to forced entry and breakout attempts from both sides, these doors are a reliable barrier between safety and risk.
Its steel construction — reinforced internally and flush-mounted on the cell side — offers maximum resistance to vandalism, tampering, and suicide attempts. The door leaf can withstand significant edge, static, and torsional loads with minimal deflection, ensuring reliable structural integrity over time.
Optional integrations such as food hatches, tamper-proof inspection windows, and fanlights further customise the door for operational needs. With compatibility for quick-release bolts, prison-grade locking systems, and institutional safety protocols, S4Z is the professional standard in secure containment door solutions.
Engineered for resilience, control, and institutional safety
Tested in accordance with DIN EN 1627–1630 up to RC4 from both sides — against forced entry on the corridor side and breakout attempts on the cell side. Also tested to the detention cell door guidelines of Saxony-Anhalt.
Withstands up to 2.5 t of static load with minimal deflection (<6.5 mm). Torsional load up to 2.0 t resulted in <4 mm deflection, ensuring lasting strength under extreme stress.
No exposed edges or internal screws on the cell side. Fully flush-mounted cladding prevents self-harm or tampering attempts, while high-tensile internal framing ensures anti-vandal resilience.
Available with tamper-proof door viewers (up to 200°), food hatches, security chains, inspection windows with armoured glass, and fanlights for lighting or monitoring tech.
Can be locked or released using a key after 15 minutes of fire exposure inside the cell. Available with quick-release systems: sliding bolt or lever-handle-based for fast, safe access.
Double-walled steel door leaf up to 72 mm thick with galvanised steel cladding. Concealed hinges and reinforced locking areas provide secure, tamper-resistant operation.
Compatible with SYSTEM SÄLZER® products. Can be installed in various wall types with optional bullet-resistant wall connections. Available with fanlights and frame-integrated features.
Designed for long-term institutional use. Built with robust hardware and hinge systems to endure repeated high-impact use in demanding custodial environments.
